皇家童军变植物人 双亲求助盼帮寻良医

(吉辇3日讯)可怜天下父母心!一位曾考获“皇家童军”的活跃青年马冠群,不幸患病而变成植物人,双亲仍未放弃为他寻医的机会,但却面临经济困境而有心无力,因此恳求各界善翁的施舍援助。

家住巴里文打吉辇花园的马冠群(18岁)是一名活跃好动的大好青年,去年刚从吉辇国民型中学毕业,并热衷参与童军团的活动,更於去年成功考获“皇家童军”。

不料,今年初突然间病发,头痛发烧后昏迷2个月,醒来后竟变成毫无知觉的植物人,其手脚也因脑部神经线问题而收缩,医生将其病情诊断为急性播散性脑脊髓炎,并表示束手无策。但是,马氏的父母亲并没放弃,仍然力求其他管道,包括寻找中医治疗。

然而,从事工厂罗里司机马海宗(冠群的父亲)收入有限,每月只有约1400令吉的收入,根本无法为马冠群筹取寻医的费用,而冠群目前还需要母亲庄矞心的贴心照顾,照料费每月都至少须花上逾千令吉,包括购买奶粉、尿片等等。

马海宗(50岁)表示,冠群是在9月杪才出院回家,过去9个月的就医及住院已花上了一笔开销,靠的得过去的储蓄及亲友们的协助,目前经济情况陷入穷途末路,才被迫通过报章向各界善长仁翁求助。

他说,冠群的照料费每月至少千多令吉了,尚不包括调养及其他寻医的费用。由于需长期的调养及寻医,确实需要到的费用目前是无法计算。
