New Airport Security Measures in Australia

security measures ....... getting more and more of it. i wonder in this coming july when travel with the entire contingent to uk for 21st world scout jamboree, anymore things that we need to consider and take note.

for those who will be travel to australia soon like myself, please take note of the following:

From 31 March 2007, the Australian Government will introduce
new security measures to limit the amount of liquids, aerosols
and gels that can be taken through the screening-point for
people flying to and from Australia, and on domestic sectors
within Australia which are part of an international flight.
These measures are being progressively introduced by countries
around the world. As you are booked to fly internationally
with us around this time, this will affect you.

All containers with drinks, creams, perfumes, sprays, gels,
toothpaste and similar substances should not exceed 100ml each
and will have to be carried in a re-sealable clear plastic bag,
no larger than 20cm x 20cm, and be inspected separately. There
is a limit of one plastic bag per passenger.

Passengers flying to and from Australia may take on board
liquids, aerosols and gels purchased after the final screening
point, including duty free goods. If you are transferring to a
different flight enroute you will be subject to re-screening at
the transfer point. As a result we would recommend that any
purchases of duty free liquids, aerosols or gels which exceed
100ml should be made on your last international flight sector,
or on arrival. If you are transferring to an onward flight you
must ensure any liquids, aerosols and gels purchased after the
screening point are packed in accordance with the security
measures in place at your transfer airport.

Exceptions will be made for medication and baby food. However,
these items may be subject to additional security checks.

We recommend passengers travelling on international flights
departing from Australia between 31 March and 30 April 2007
arrive at the airport up to three hours before departure to
allow extra time for security screening during the
implementation of these new Government measures.

camping & about the rest

this weekend going camping again in ulu langat. heard the campsite is like ulu yam, the river is just next to the campsite and car can access to till the campsite.

yeah... this time not many of us, yoon kong & wife & friend, kar yew, yee en, seck hong, kien min and myself.

for the old hack and the rest JAP SANG la.u all. yoong kong will prepared food for all.

the 3 scouts, bring ur own camping equipemt, like u going normal camping.

see you guy this sat 800am at kar yew's house.

where are the rest ?not sure some but may suan & james will be in tioman.

those were the day when bobby, my senior the foot drill commander of 17th petaling scout group. the sad news came in last week by tuck loong thru sms that bobby is gone. last saw him was in xian ai's house for farewell party and met him few weeks after that in klang, my customer place..

this is really shock news to everyone who know him................well, that is life. take care everyone.

day is done, gone the sun, from the sea, from the hill, from the sky, all is well, safely rest, god is nite.

camping again...........

end of this month will have another holiday on saturday. is time to go for camp again.

so far confirmed going is kar yew, yoon kong and myself. we will be going to new place for camp.

yeah. can't wait for the camp......

anyway, this weekend recruits camp is on, then coming weekend is malaysian contingent pre-jamboree camp. then following weekend is course for group scoutmaster in HQ then follow by the camping with all the old hack.....

yeah.. looking forward to see the old hack.

oh yeah..... we intend to bring along the potential king scout to the camp to evaluate their skill level.
